Appropriate age for kids to walk alone at school

For all of the kids who walk to the school is the great way for them to get a little bit exercise they need but being a parent, we sometimes think that what is the appropriate age for them to walk alone to school? There are many parents out there who think that they can handle walking to and from the school bus stop and all the way to school by themselves as early as the second or third grade but according to many experts’ and cbse school in Jagatpura jaipur rajasthan  kids are really not able to handle any kind of emergencies or situation until the age from 9 to 11 years old or about the fifth grade.

Skills which we can teach our child for walking to school: Parents are only the person who can begin practicing the child safety rules and pedestrian safety rules in order to get their kids ready to be more independent and able to walk to the school alone by himself.

There are such things which we should teach our children:

We should make them to pay attention to all the traffic rules when they are crossing the street and make them put away the cell phone or other electronic devices which contribute to distract them walking.

They should always cross the intersection where there are traffic lights as well as do not cross in the middle of the block.

They should always look their left, right and left again before crossing the road and they should cross the road while keeping an eye on the traffic.

They should always watch for turning vehicles when crossing the street.

They should remember that drivers may not seem then even if they can see the driver.

They must wear bright colored clothing or a device which will increase their visibility such as reflective armband or a safety vest etc. cbse girls school in Jagatpura Jaipur should also pay attention in this regard and aware the kids about traffic safety.
